Smart Practice

Each question is chosen to suit your level as it changes, rotating through topics. At the end you get an estimate of your level, your strongest and weakest topics, and what to practise next.

How it works

Smart Practice uses item response theory, the standard method behind adaptive tests such as the GMAT. Every question has a difficulty, and after each answer your estimated level is updated. The next question is one that tells us most about you at that level, with topics rotated and an easier one now and then. Difficulties start from the site's ratings and are recalculated each week from answers students choose to share anonymously, so the estimates sharpen over time.
